Immune system skew in C.F.S. and M.E.
This week we have the latest for you in our series of nutrition videos, this time with Sanna Anderson from the nutrition team, talking about a specific kind of immune balance that we find in some patients which explains why often patients at a certain stage of illness rarely get flu, but often have a lot of allergies.

Thanks, guys, that’s fantastic. I’ve spent years going to “normal” doc and saying – yeah, but, I’ve not had a cold or flu the whole time – that’s a bit weird. And as usual him looking back at me with a yeah right, mad woman, expression on his face. I knew it was linked with my ME but not how. These last couple of years, as I’ve improved I now get the odd cold symptoms, and yes, went to doc and said – it’s great, I’ve got a cold. That’s got to be a good sign … blank expression from doc.

Glad to know that I’m not mad.

Thank you for these short, easy to digest (‘scuse pun!) videos. Well explained and therefore easier to understand what is behind the myriad of symptoms that is M.E./C.F.S/fibromyalgia.

Yes, exactly right for me. Tons of allergies, and my version of getting a cold/flu is to feel exhausted for a week or three. The virus NEVER develops to the ‘snot phase’, to put it bluntly.
Thanks guys.
